Wondershare Dr.Fone — Screen Unlock
What the vendor claims: Dr.Fone is a large phone-utility suite, and Screen Unlock is one module inside it. It advertises removing screen passcodes, Apple IDs, MDM profiles, and — on supported devices — Activation Lock, alongside many unrelated phone tools. Its breadth is the selling point; its Activation Lock coverage, like other commercial tools, is narrower in its own documentation than in its headlines.
Limitations to check before paying
- Confirm your exact model and iOS version on Wondershare's own compatibility page, and which specific feature you are buying — passcode removal and Activation Lock removal are different claims with different limits.
- Ask what survives: cellular service, iCloud sign-in, and behaviour after restart and update. A limited bypass is not a full removal, whatever the product page implies.
- Note that you are buying into a suite, not a single-purpose tool. If you only need one lock addressed, compare the suite price against a single-purpose alternative — and against the free official route first.
- This site has not tested Dr.Fone and does not endorse it.
What this tool cannot do
It cannot officially remove Activation Lock, and it cannot make a device you do not own legitimately usable. Start with the official route before spending anything.
